DevHub 1.0, the product orchestrator, is released
Intelligy Software today released version 1 of DevHub, the product orchestrator behind everything we build.
Most AI coding tools help a developer write code faster, or take a single task and open a pull request for a person to review. DevHub runs the whole line. It turns a backlog into shipped software across every product we make, with a fleet of AI agents doing the design, the code, the review and the shipping, and domain experts deciding what good looks like.
"The heart and soul of intelligy is our people: the product owners who know what good looks like, and the designers who shape every screen," said Kenyon Langford, principal and product architect. "DevHub is the great multiplier of what they do. It is the product orchestrator: innovative, and ahead of its time."
From issue to shipped
- The expert writes the issue. A domain expert describes the problem and how to tell when it is solved.
- DevHub plans the work. It reads the whole backlog, works out what depends on what, and puts it in order.
- Agents work in parallel. DevHub launches agents across every product at once, each in its own isolated copy of the code.
- Design, then code. Each agent designs the change first, then builds it against the issue's acceptance criteria.
- Every change is challenged. Checks sized to the work run on every change, and a second agent's only job is to prove it wrong. Work that fails turns red and goes back, keeping what was already done. Nothing ships until it passes.
- Agents ask when it matters. When a change needs a decision only a person can make, the agent stops, asks that person on the issue, and resumes once it has the answer. The agent that published this release stopped to ask for its text.
The Bridge
The Bridge is DevHub's live console. Every chip on it is a real issue in flight: queued, being designed, coded or checked, ready to ship, or turned back for another pass. One screen shows the whole fleet across every product.
Quality first, and every run metered
DevHub weighs every trade-off in a fixed order: quality, then speed, then autonomy, then cost. Every agent run is metered, and budgets cap what the fleet can spend.
Proven on our own products
Our products are built on DevHub, from Communafi to NurdHub. On the day NurdHub 1.0 was released, the change that published its announcement went from hand-off to merged code in under ten minutes. This website's changes ship through DevHub too.
